1. Open Photoshop

2. Next Select the file menu then Create New, See the picture below :

  • Give the title as you wish
  • then specify the desired design size
  • after that change the resolution to 300 pixels
  • Change the color mode to CMYK
  • Transparent background

3. The next step is entering the image that will be separated by color

  • Change Background according to the color of the shirt
  • Make two backgrounds, namely White and Black
  • Make sure your design is in CMYK mode

4. Make a background cloth

  • Disable the T-shirt and White color background and activate the Black background
  • Then enter the channel menu
  • Make a New channel using the create new channel icon and color it according to the color of the shirt
  • Select masked area
  • fill the opacity to 100%
  • Don't Forget to give a name as desired (T-Shirt)

5. Make WHITE Base Color 1

  • Activate the CMYK channel
  • Then click the Load Channel as selection icon
  • After that, click the save selection as channel icon
  • Then click CTRL + D on the keyboard Then CTRL + I
  • The next step is double click on the new channel, then change the color to white and name the channel to WHITE 1
  • Then change to Spot color
  • Change solidity to 85% then click OK

6. Make CYAN Color 2

  • Activate the CYAN channel
  • Make sure on the Layer menu, Friend, you have changed the Background to White or Disable the Black Background and Activate the White Background
  • Then select Dupliclate cyan channel
  • Rename to CYAN 2
  • Then double click channel CYAN 2
  • Fox becomes spot color
  • Change solidity to 5% Then OK
  • Then press CTRL on the keyboard then left click on the newly created channel
  • Then select select menu and select modify then select expand click and fill 1 pixel then OK
  • Make sure the foreground color is black and the backgroud is white
  • Then click on the keyboard ATL + DELETE Then CTRL + D
  • If successful, the results are as shown below

7. Making Magenta 3 Colors

  • The steps are the same as the CYAN Process
  • Activate the MAGENTA channel
  • Then select Dupliclate channel magenta
  • Rename to MAGENTA 3
  • Then double click the MAGENTA 3 channel
  • Fox becomes spot color
  • Change solidity to 5% Then OK
  • Then press CTRL on the keyboard then left click on the newly created channel
  • Then select select menu and select modify then select expand click and fill 1 pixel then OK
  • Make sure the foreground color is black and the backgroud is white
  • Then click on the ATL + DELETE keyboard then CTRL + D
  • If successful, the result will be like the image when making cyan colors

8. Make Yellow Color 4

  • The steps are the same as the CYAN Process
  • Activate the YELLOW channel
  • Then select Dupliclate channel magenta
  • Rename to YELLOW 4
  • Then double click the YELLOW 4 channel
  • Fox becomes spot color
  • Change solidity to 5% Then OK
  • Then press CTRL on the keyboard then left click on the newly created channel
  • Then select select menu and select modify then select expand click and fill 1 pixel then OK
  • Make sure the foreground color is black and the backgroud is white
  • Then click on the ATL + DELETE keyboard then CTRL + D
  • If successful, the result will be like the image when making cyan colors

9. Make Black Color 5

  • The steps are the same as the CYAN Process
  • Activate the BLACK channel
  • Then select Dupliclate channel magenta
  • Rename to BLACK 5
  • Then double click the BLACK channel 5
  • Fox becomes spot color
  • Change solidity to 100% Then OK
  • Then press CTRL on the keyboard then left click on the newly created channel
  • Then select select menu and select modify then select expand click and fill 1 pixel then OK
  • Make sure the foreground color is black and the backgroud is white
  • Then click on the ATL + DELETE keyboard then CTRL + D
  • If successful, the result will be like the image when making cyan colors
